L'ospitalità

Furniture for hotels & serviced apartments

The look of the bespoke, at the cadence of contract supply. Considered furniture in finishes that flatter every interior, consistent across every floor.

Why Montalvi

The challenge

What we hear from hotels & hospitality.

Good to know

Hotels & Hospitality — your questions

Do you supply hotels and serviced apartments?

Yes — contract-grade bedroom and room furniture made to order, in consistent finishes across every room and floor.

Can the furniture match our interior scheme?

Yes. Eight core finishes plus any two-tone combination, all made to order, so the furniture suits your brand rather than the other way round.

Is it durable enough for hospitality use?

It's specified for contract use — A-grade board with metal handles and corner protectors built for constant guest turnover.

Can you deliver across a multi-floor property?

Yes — consolidated or phased delivery, coordinated around your opening or refurbishment programme.

Can you make a complete bedroom set — bed, headboard, wardrobe, desk and TV/minibar unit — to our designer's FF&E scheme?

Yes — Montalvi makes full contract bedroom and suite sets to order in our own British workshops, so the headboard, bed base, wardrobe, luggage bench, writing desk and combined TV/minibar unit all share one finish, edge detail and handle specification. Work from your interior designer's FF&E schedule, drawings or moodboard and we build each piece to the sizes and materials called for, in A-grade 18mm/15mm board with metal handles and fittings as standard so the whole room reads as one coordinated collection rather than mixed off-the-shelf parts.

Can you refurbish a property one floor at a time so we keep rooms in revenue while we upgrade?

Yes — because everything is made to order, Montalvi can phase production and delivery floor by floor or wing by wing to match your refurbishment programme and keep the rest of the property trading. We hold your agreed specification on file, so a floor completed now and a floor completed months later are matched from the same stored spec, and deliveries can be consolidated or staggered to suit contractor access, lift availability and handover dates. Talk to us about your phasing plan and we will schedule build slots around it.

Can the same design be rolled out consistently across every room while still allowing suite variations?

Yes — Montalvi is built for multi-room consistency: one repeatable specification produced to identical build standards across a standard room type, with variant specs layered on top for suites, accessible rooms and corner rooms that need different dimensions or extra pieces. We store the master spec so a standard double built for the ground floor matches one built for the top floor, while a suite can carry a larger wardrobe, an additional dresser or a seating piece in the same finish family. It gives you brand consistency at scale without forcing every room to be identical.

Can you build to a specific brand standard or operator manual for finish, dimensions and durability?

Yes — Montalvi builds to your brand standard, operator FF&E manual or design guardrails, matching stated finishes, colours, dimensions and construction requirements piece by piece. As contract-grade work it uses A-grade 18mm/15mm board with metal handles and fittings as standard, which suits high-turnover hospitality use, and we can match a nominated laminate, veneer look, edge profile or handle so new-build and refurbishment rooms align to the brand book. Share the standard you must meet and we specify each item against it before production begins.

Can upholstered headboards and seating be made to Crib 5 / contract fire standards for hospitality?

Yes — on upholstered items such as headboards, ottoman luggage benches and bedroom seating, Montalvi can build to the relevant UK contract fire-safety standards, including Crib 5 / BS 7177 ignition performance on request. Case goods are made to relevant UK standards including the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations. Confirm the ignition source and standard your property or insurer requires at enquiry stage and we specify the foams, interliners and fabrics accordingly so the finished pieces meet it.

Do you make compact and kitchenette-friendly furniture for serviced apartments and aparthotels?

Yes — Montalvi makes space-efficient furniture to order for serviced apartments and aparthotels, including compact wardrobes, combined desk/dressing units, TV and storage walls, shoe racks and bespoke pieces sized to fit around a kitchenette, awkward wall run or low ceiling. Because each item is built to your exact measurements rather than a fixed catalogue size, we can work to tight floor plates and integrate storage where a standard unit simply would not fit, keeping a small apartment functional and consistent with the rest of the building.

Can furniture be supplied unbranded or under our own operator brand?

Yes — Montalvi can produce furniture entirely under your own operator or design brand as a white-label maker, supplied unbranded and blind-shipped so there is no third-party marking on the pieces or the delivery. This suits operators who want a consistent in-house look across a portfolio without external branding on the product. We can supply flat-pack or fully assembled to suit your install team, and reorders for later phases or additional properties are matched from your stored specification.

Can you match existing rooms when we add or replace furniture in an operating property?

Yes — as a made-to-order manufacturer Montalvi keeps your original specification on file, so replacement pieces after damage, or extra pieces when you add rooms, are built to match the existing set in size, finish and fittings. That means a wardrobe or headboard supplied a year after the first order aligns with what is already installed rather than appearing as an obvious newer item. Give us the original order reference or the room it must match and we reproduce to the same stored spec, with nationwide UK delivery to the property.
